Cut Sheet Single Station Machine for Luggage Industry
Machinecraft can make thermoforming machines to produce hard luggage shell made using ABS / PC thermoplastic material. The machine is of forming area 800 x 1100 mm and has a stroke of 300 mm. The machine is built as per European standard with closed chamber design to allow pre-blowing of thermoplastic material - important for uniform sheet thickness in the final formed part.
The machine can fit single or double cavitation tooling depending on the size of the luggage shell.

There are 3 x main types of machines we offer for the luggage industry
UNO
This is a simple pneumatic driven machine - bottom table is driven with a single cylinder - the frames are fixed type with adjustable cross member - the tool clamping is done using bolts and has double heating ovens in top & bottom

DUO
This is also a pneumatic driven machine - bottom table is driven with a single cylinder - the frames are fixed type with adjustable cross member - the tool clamping is done using bolts, has double heating ovens in top & bottom but the machine has double station - so when the operator is loading a new sheet, the old sheet is being heated.
The machine has double sided forming stations with common heating oven in between - this is done to save the electricity bill
